Swimming is great fun and it keeps you active!
When swimming, you'll need a strong kick to move through the water. See below for some tips to improve your kick and ensure you can speed through the water!
FLUTTER KICK TIPS:
- Don't bend your knees - that won't propel you through the water
- Make sure you kick from your hips and point your toes
- You can practice at home by laying on your tummy and doing small flutter kicks with straight legs
*Make sure you find a soft surface and that there are no hazards around like tables, chairs or sharp objects.
