Y Swim - Flutter Kick At Home Drills

Swimming is great fun and it keeps you active!

When swimming, you'll need a strong kick to move through the water. See below for some tips to improve your kick and ensure you can speed through the water! 


  1. Don't bend your knees - that won't propel you through the water   
  2. Make sure you kick from your hips and point your toes 
  3. You can practice at home by laying on your tummy and doing small flutter kicks with straight legs

*Make sure you find a soft surface and that there are no hazards around like tables, chairs or sharp objects.
