Y Fit - Gentle Flow Yoga with Magee

16 Sep 2021 - Y Fit

Try this virtual Yoga class with Y Instructor, Magee

Magee has been teaching Yoga for 2 years and commenced with the Y in August 2020 when Stromlo Leisure Centre opened. She currently teaches Yoga & BODYBALANCE classes on a regular basis with both sessions generally fully booked.

Magee is motivated to share the benefits of Yoga with participants to create a sense of relaxation, calmness and balance. Today’s class is Gentle Flow Yoga and focuses on flexibility, mobility and strength, primarily through the hips and lower back region.

Benefits of Yoga:

  • Improve your balance, strength and flexibility
  • Feel relaxed and improve your sleep
  • Manage stress and anxiety
  • Boost energy levels

All that you will need for this class is your Yoga mat and a quiet space to zen out!

Make sure you have plenty of space to move around safely and you have everything you'll need throughout the workout including a towel water bottle and don't forget your smart watch to track the workout!

As always, please remember to only work to your limits and ensure that if at any time you feel you are exercising beyond your current fitness abilities, or you feel discomfort, pain, dizziness or nausea, you should discontinue exercising immediately
