Y Fit - Body Weights Workout with Michael

04 Aug 2021 - Y Fit

No equipment, no worries! This one is all about body weight exercises!

Benefits of body weights workouts:

  • Convenience -  With these exercises you can accomplish a sweaty and effective workout anywhere–your living room, bedroom, or outdoors in a minimal space.
  • Efficency - With no gear in the way, transitioning from one exercise to the next is much easier and takes less time. With less rest, your heart rate stays up which means you'll burn more caliories!
  • Built to suit you! - Body weight exercises have the ability to be easily modified to suit your own fitness level. For example: push-up: varieties range from knees-on-the ground all the way to clap push-ups depending on your ability.

Now let's get into the workout!

5 rounds - 40 seconds on 20 second rest

  • Bear crawl
  • Side plank hip raise
  • Superman push-up
  • Burpee

Good luck!

Make sure you have plenty of space to move around safely and you have everything you'll need throughout the workout including a towel water bottle and don't forget your smart watch to track the workout!

As always, please remember to only work to your limits and ensure that if at any time you feel you are exercising beyond your current fitness abilities, or you feel discomfort, pain, dizziness or nausea, you should discontinue exercising immediately
