We are pleased to share that The Y NSW has been appointed by the NSW Department of Education as the operator of the new West Ryde Community Multi-Sports Facility.
The redevelopment of the former Marsden High School site on Winbourne Street is nearing completion and turns the site into a major new hub for community sport, with 33 courts including 4 indoor multipurpose courts and 29 outdoor netball courts, along with open green space, seating and facilities for the community to enjoy.
The Y NSW will begin establishing operations immediately in preparation for the mid-2026 opening, and we look forward to working closely with Eastwood Ryde Netball Association (ERNA) as the anchor tenant to support a smooth start to the 2026 netball season.
This appointment also continues our long-standing connection with the Ryde community. The Y NSW has been part of the area for more than 15 years through the Ryde Community and Sports Centre, supporting local families and communities to stay active, connected and living inspired lives.
We’re proud to build on that legacy and look forward to bringing this new facility to life for the whole community.
