1. Promoter
The Promoter is the Y NSW (Young Men’s Christian Association of Sydney) ABN 28 067 150 010, 7 Cityview Road, Pennant Hills NSW 2120.
2. Promotional Period
The promotion opens 6:00 am AEDT Monday 20 October 2025 and closes 11:59 pm AEDT Sunday 23 November 2025 (“Promotional Period”).
3. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who are the parent, guardian or caregiver of a child joining or enrolling in a participating Y NSW recreation program, or an adult joining a Y NSW fitness membership, during the Promotional Period.
Some Y NSW locations offer program multi-visit passes or bundled session packs. These products are eligible for entry into this promotion when purchased during the Promotional Period, provided they are for the same participating program types listed in clause 4.
This offer is only valid to new customers who have not held an active membership or program enrolment with the Y NSW within six (6) months prior to the start of the Promotional Period.
Excluded are Y NSW directors, employees, contractors, their immediate family members, and any person who has won prizes totalling more than $5,000 in Y NSW promotions in the 12 months prior.
4. How to Enter
During the Promotional Period, eligible entrants must either –
- enrol their child in Gymnastics, Learn to Swim, or Learn to Play Sports / Junior Basketball Academy, or
- join on an individual direct-debit Fitness Membership,
at any participating Y NSW-managed centre.
One entry per person (regardless of the number of programs or family members enrolled). Entries must be received by 11:59 pm AEDT 23 November 2025.
5. Verification
The Promoter may verify the identity and eligibility of entrants. Prize winners must provide suitable ID and may be required to sign a declaration confirming compliance with these Terms.
6. The Prize
Each participating Y NSW centre will award three (3) major prizes, each consisting of a 12-week block of the program joined / enrolled in, or 12 weeks of fitness membership, credited to the winner’s Y account.
For winners who purchased an eligible program multi-visit pass or bundled session pack as outlined in Section 3 (Eligibility), the prize will be credited as an equivalent value to 12 single-visit passes for the same program type. The credit will be applied to the winner’s account and may be redeemed for additional sessions, renewal, or continuation of that program within the same category, as determined by the Promoter.
The prize is valued at approximately $272 (incl. GST) each; total prize pool ≈ $8,160 (incl. GST).
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash.
Credits must be used in NSW School Term 1 2026 and will be applied by the Promoter to the winner’s membership or program account.
7. Draw and Notification
A random draw will be conducted at 3:00 pm AEDT Monday 24 November 2025 at the Y NSW, 7 Cityview Road, Pennant Hills NSW 2120 by the Marketing Manager or delegate.
Winners will be notified by telephone and email and published on ymcansw.org.au and the Y NSW’s Facebook and Instagram pages within five business days.
If a prize remains unclaimed by 8 December 2025, a redraw will occur at 10:00 am AEDT that day at the same location. The redraw winner will be contacted and published as above. Prizes will be fulfilled no later than 2 April 2026 (end of Term 1 NSW schools).
8. General Conditions
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries or technical failures. If the promotion cannot run as planned, the Promoter may cancel or amend it subject to law. If the stated prize becomes unavailable, a substitute of equal or greater value may be awarded. All decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Liability and Indemnity
Except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and its related entities will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance of a prize.
10. Publicity Consent
By entering, entrants grant the Y NSW a royalty-free, perpetual licence to use their name, image and comments for marketing and promotional purposes without further compensation and waive any moral rights in such material.
11. Privacy
Personal information is collected by the Y NSW to conduct this promotion and award prizes. All data is handled in accordance with the Y NSW Privacy Policy.
