The Australian Capital Territory (ACT)’s Chief Minister, Andrew Barr, has announced mandatory mask wearing as of June 28, 2021 to control the spread of COVID-19 infection.
In response to this, the Y made the following changes at our centres in the ACT:
- All Y staff and patrons must wear a mask on site unless they are participating in exercise.
How you can help:
- In line with NSW Government public health orders, if you have travelled to the Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour, or Central Coast regions – please stay at home for 14 days after your return to the ACT and do not attend our centres.
- We ask that if you are feeling unwell that you get tested and remain home.
- Try to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
We thank our ACT customers for cooperating and supporting our staff as we manage through this challenging time. Your health and safety is of the utmost importance to us, and we are doing our bit to ensure that we control the spread of infection from COVID-19.
