Played with a shuttlecock, badminton involves two or four players on opposing sides of the court. The aim is to score points by landing the shuttlecock in the opponent's designated area.
A badminton match is usually made up of 3 games. A game is won by the team who is first to score 21 points. At 20 all, the side which gains a 2 point lead first, wins that game. At 29 all, the side scoring the 30th point wins that game.
