Breakfast Program

The Y NSW Breakfast Program has been established since 2010, serving over 10,000 breakfasts every year.  

Located at Monaro High School, Y NSW’s Breakfast Program is about more than providing young people with a nutritional breakfast. Our staff and volunteers engage participants in before-school sporting activities and offer referrals to local supports, where required.  

Our Breakfast Program is open to all young people and aims to ensure young people are provided with the best opportunity to improve educational outcomes including:  

• Increased school engagement 
• Improved food literacy 
• Enhanced academic performance 
• Maximises classroom concentration and behavioural outcomes
