Did you know that the Y is turning 175?
At the Y, we believe in the power of inspired young people. And to provide that spark, we're focusing on:

* empowering young people
* social impact.
In Australia, the YMCA supports over 740 communities through 24 member associations with more than 12,000 staff.
We employ over 2,000 people in more than 40 communities in NSW and the ACT. Each year, over 3 million people visit our fitness and aquatic centres, and over 7,000 children attend our outside school hours care centres.
As a not-for-profit organisation we also run important community programs across NSW and the ACT.
As we celebrate 175 years in Australia, the Y would like to extend an invitation to all members to attend our birthday celebration on 8 June 2019. With similtaneous parties being held across the country, lets get together and commemorate this wonderful milestone together!
