Camp Yarramundi's future takes shape as Reitsma comes on board

The Y NSW has officially welcomed Reitsma Constructions as the builder for the redevelopment of Camp Yarramundi, marking the next exciting chapter for an adventure destination that has been helping young people grow, connect and thrive for nearly 90 years.

Since 1937, Camp Yarramundi has been a cornerstone of outdoor education in NSW, creating memorable experiences for generations of young people, schools and community groups.

“By partnering with Reitsma we’ll build a safe and inclusive camp that will inspire communities for years to come,” said Rob Kennaugh, CEO of the Y NSW.

When Camp Yarramundi reopens in 2028, the revitalised camp will be one of Australia's leading inclusive outdoor education destinations, featuring accessible accommodation, expanded adventure programs, a new conference and events centre, and capacity for more than 430 guests.

“Reitsma are excited to be part of the team involved in the development of Camp Y,” said a spokesperson for Reitsma.

“The new facilities will see the site transformed for the next generation of campers to enjoy.”

The Y NSW is thrilled to partner with Reitsma to bring our joint vision to life and look forward to seeing the incredible transformation take shape.
