Before School Care now available to families of Mount Pritchard Public School

23 Jun 2016 - Media ReleasesOSHC

Parents of Mount Pritchard Public School students will be able to take advantage of Before School Care from next term (Term 3) in addition to the existing After School Care program which commenced last term.

While convenient for working parents who can get to their desks earlier knowing their kids are being cared for and fed a good breakfast, Before School Care is open to all families and is a great social activity for kids in a fun and safe environment.

The expanded service comes just one term after YMCA NSW took over the running of the school’s Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), having been approached by the school’s leadership.

Mount Pritchard Public School Principal Natalie Piccinin said the OSHC provides a wonderful environment for kids.

"The YMCA at Mount Pritchard has provided a valuable service to our students and families and is a wonderful, safe and creative environment.”

YMCA NSW General Manager Community and Children’s Services, Jenni Hutchins, thanked the school for their support and said the team looks forward to operating the morning service and having fun with the children.

“We would like to say a big thank you to the school leadership and community for making us feel very welcome. We’re excited about starting Before School Care so we can expand our fantastic program and continue to support our Mount Pritchard parents.”

Before School Care will operate from 7am-9am every morning and is open to all families.
