A Youth Hub is a place where young people have the opportunity to get involved in their community.
We welcome young people in the communities we work to join YMCA NSW as volunteer Young Leaders. The Young Leaders form committees and make decisions on how the Hub is run, with support from the facilitators, and develop opportunities for young people in their community.
Young people from 12 to 17 years are welcome to apply as young leaders in a Youth Hub, advocating for their peers and organising events.
We have five youth hubs running in NSW.
The Manning Youth Hub is connected to Manning Aquatic Leisure Centre. It is run in partnership with Mid-Coast Council and receives support from local Rotary Clubs. We run a variety of youth events and meet every second Wednesday from 4-5 pm at the Taree library.
The Singleton Youth Hub is connected to Singleton Heights Sports Centre and Singleton Stadium. It is run in partnership with Singleton Council and the Youth Venue. Our youth events and regular meetings will be up and running soon.

Cooma Youth Hub is a drop-in youth centre for young people aged 12 to 17 located in the heart of Cooma. Cooma Youth Hub offers a safe and friendly hang out environment for all young people and is open four days a week.
The Hub offers support to a wide range of young people who have experienced situations such as homelessness, financial difficulty, disengaging from education and training or family breakdown.
Cooma Youth Hub runs exciting school holiday programs and weekend activities for young people. Information and referrals are available on health (including mental health), transitions, safety, relationships, education, training, employment, culture and justice issues. Young people are also provided with psychosocial support and life skills – social skills, relationships, financial management and budgeting, career advice and support.
