Where all the adventure and fun begin

Here at the Y Panania North OSHC, we make sure holidays are about fun! We provide a range of Vacation Care activities that children look forward to, including arts, crafts, cooking activities, sports, dance and drama. No matter what your child is interested in, we will plan school holiday activities to suit.

Our Vacation Care program offers a variety of activities, including workshops and excursions. Our activities keep children entertained, engaged and explore their adventurous side.

To be eligible to use our Vacation Care services, children must be enrolled at school or school aged.

MON 6 JUL

DAY CAMP | World Chocolate Day

Children will celebrate one of the world's great inventions - chocolate , by exploring where it comes from and how it is made, taking part in fun hands-on discovery activities and a chocolate-themed quiz. Children can create delicious chocolate treats while experimenting with melting, decorating and tasting.

WORKSHOP | Clay Creatons Day

Children learn to shape and create their own clay masterpieces with guided pottery wheel activities. Pottery workshop from 1:30-3pm, where children learn essential pottery techniques, including centring and shaping vessels on the wheel.

EXCURSION | Island Journey

Our journey takes us to Dumaresq Street Cinema at Campbelltown, where we see freshly released live action Moana movie.

THU 9 JUL

DAY CAMP | Learning From Country Day

In recognition of NAIDOC Week, children will take part in experiences that explore Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, with a focus on connecting to Country and caring for the land. Children will plant native plants, learning about local Country (Bidjigal) and language (Dharug), exploring maps of First Nations across Australia and creating nature-inspired art, including shell-based creations that reflect the importance of land and water.

WORKSHOP | Epic Drama Games

Children are lead through a rapid fire series of drama games. They experience a range of characters and worlds, exploring acting and creativity with their friends. This workshop is the perfect introduction to drama for all ages.

WORKSHOP | World Cup Creators Day

Day dedicated to the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Through activities inspired by participating countries, children will explore different cultures while celebrating the global spirit of soccer. All children will be given soccer balls to decorate in a workshop.

EXCURSION | Trash to Treasure Day

Excursion To Reverse Garbage in Marrickville, where children take part of the Creator Club workshop which is intended to get students thinking about all the items in their lives that could be repurposed into interesting art projects.

DAY CAMP | Around the World Adventure

Explore different countries through games, crafts, music, and food-inspired activities. Children will “travel” the globe while learning about diverse cultures and traditions in a fun, interactive way.

DAY CAMP | Pajama & Chill Day

A relaxed day filled with cozy crafts, music, mindfulness activities, board games, and reading corners. Perfect for helping children recharge while still having fun with friends.

WORKSHOP | Challenge & Conquer Day

Children take part in an exciting obstacle course workshop. Throughout the rest of the day, they'll be encouraged to try new things, build confidence and support one another as they work through each activity.

MON 20 JUL

DAY CAMP | International Moon Day

Children will explore the wonders of space as they learn about the Moon and it's unique features. Throughout the day, they will take part in hands-on activities such as building rockets, creating moon craters, space-themed art and fun "moon" snacks.

Child Care Subsidy

As a not-for-profit provider, the Y NSW works hard to keep the cost of care as low as possible to support all children to access high quality early learning. The Y NSW is an approved provider of the Child Care Subsidy for Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) and may be available to eligible families.
