Here at the Y Mayfield West OSHC, we make sure school holidays are fun! We provide a range of Vacation Care activities that children look forward to, including arts, crafts, cooking activities, sports, dance and drama. No matter what your child is interested in, we will plan school holiday activities to suit.
Our Vacation Care program offers a variety of activities, including workshops and excursions. Our activities keep children entertained, engaged and explore their adventurous side.
To be eligible to use our Vacation Care services, children must be enrolled at school or school aged.

DAY CAMP | Park Day! Join us for a fun day at Stevenson Park Mayfield! Enjoy as we venture on this 10 minute walk and explore the basketball court, slides, swings, soccer field and more! We will leave the service at 10am and relax in the fresh air and enjoy a DELICIOUS sausage sandwich for lunch. We will leave the park at 12:45pm to return to the service at 1pm and continue our afternoon of fun with board games, art and more. |

WORKSHOP | Boot Camp Fun Day Think you got make it takes? Meet FitKids Australia at 11:30am and enjoy a day filled with boot camp challenges like tug o war, boxing, and HIIT fitness opportunities. Work within teams to conquer and overcome fitness obstacles throughout this uplifting 2 hour fitness session. |

Join Mike and his team in the hall at 9:30am for a wonderous time with clay. Choose from a variety of colours as you mould, shape and craft and let your imagination run wild for 2.5 hrs worth of fun! We cant wait to see what you create :) |

EXCURSION | Ninja Parc Ninjas Fancy yourself a Ninja? Join us for our excursion out to Ninja Parc Newcastle. Let us take you into a world of physical challenges as you maneuver through Ninja designed courses and harness up, to take on the climbing walls and high rope floating platforms! Be advised children must be over 1.1 m tall to safely explore the floating platforms, if you are under this dont worry - they will have all access to the variety of climbing walls to enjoy We will depature from school at 11:30 am and arrive at our destination at 11:45am for Ninja course fun at 12pm. Harness up for the climbing course at 1pm before departing from the venue at 2pm and returning at the service at 2:15pm. |

DAY CAMP | Soccer Legends! You got foot work skills like Messi? Turns like Ronaldo? Kicks like Mbappe or think you have mastered the Neymar rainbow flip? Join us at the service for a day filled of everything related to soccer! Come dressed as your favourite soccer legend and go head to head in soccer drills such as juggling, best ball skills and best goalie as you compete in various competitions with your mates. Dont tire out before heading out for a group soccer game, we may even challenge you more with an educators vs children match - bring it on! |

WORKSHOP | Gamer Heaven Enjoy a day of game play with a special visit from the gaming van! Corey will arrive at 10am for a world of tech fun. Choose from 5 video games ranging from Sonic Cart Racing, Minecraft Dunegons, Fifa, Rocket League and Lego Jurassic World as groups of 16 rotate throughout the experience. Get in and explore before the van departs the service at 3pm. See you there gaming heros! :) |

WORKSHOP | Robotics Club Join TechGen as you explore a world full of Robotics. Meet the TechGen Technicians as you enjoy a session with Bluebots starting at 11am-12pm. In this session you will be introduced to concepts of programing and creating code, learn basic programming skills in an age-appropriate manner, play fun games that teach you how to program BlueBots to complete simple objectives and get creative by making maps and obstacles courses for your BlueBot to move through. Enjoy a small break before heading back for a session with Ozobots at 12:30-1:30pm. In this session you will be introduced to basic block coding, learn how to code OzoBots to perform functions and complete objectives and create your own maps for Ozobots to move through to tell a story or complete challenges. |

EXCURSION | Dullboys Have a blast in a day filled with bowling, putt putt and arcades at Dullboys Rutherford. Be at the service before 7:45am to depart the school at 8am to arrive at the venue at 8:45am. Get into a group of 5 as you gear up to take on the bowling lanes - who has the skills to bowl a strike? Then enjoy a round of putt putt as you attempt trick putts before finishing off the morning with arcade games. Our bus will pick us up at 11:30am for a 12:15pm return where we will enjoy a picnic lunch in the sun! |

DAY CAMP | Wrestle Mania Gear up for a day full of wrestling games and challenges! Explore sock wrestling, toe tap, fox tail, arm wreslting, snatch and grapple and out of the circle games. Safety precautions, high supervision and staff mentoring will be in place through the entirity of the day as we explore this large body risky play pathway. Work in variations of 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 team games to conquer wrestling challenges. |
