Children's Services Handbook
Our Children’s Services Handbook is full of information for all you need to know about attending our service, including our Frequently Asked Questions.
Our practice
We are committed to providing a safe and enriching place for children to have inspired minds and active bodies.
Our experienced Educators work with the My Time Our Place framework to tailor programs for each child we care for. It is an evidence-based framework that emphasises the benefits of providing children with a broad range of experiences.
We encourage children to help plan their own activities and menus. We also welcome feedback from parents and carers in shaping the experiences we offer at our OSHC.
Our Educators undergo a rigorous recruitment process and must:
- Have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Pass a criminal history check
- Have first aid qualifications.
We ensure all our Educators satisfy regulatory requirements and work to best practices by providing regular professional development. Our services are all licensed and monitored to comply with the National Quality Framework. We also take part in ratings and assessments administered by the Early Childhood Education Directorate (ECECD).
