Where all the adventure and fun begin

Here at the Y Hammondville OSHC, we make sure holidays are about fun! We provide a range of Vacation Care activities that children look forward to, including arts, crafts, cooking activities, sports, dance and drama. No matter what your child is interested in, we will plan school holiday activities to suit.

Our Vacation Care program offers a variety of activities, including workshops and excursions. Our activities keep children entertained, engaged and explore their adventurous side.

To be eligible to use our Vacation Care services, children must be enrolled at school or school aged.

WORKSHOP | Hatching Ducks

Waddle on down to Hammondville as we welcome some adorable ducklings. We'll watch and care for these fluffy friends over the holidays and engage in fun activities all while having a quacking good time with our new feathered friends!

DAY CAMP | Explore India

Namaste! Pack your curiosity and get ready to journey across vibrant India! We'll be diving into colourful crafts, dancing to Bollywood beats, tasting yummy treats, and discovering the wonders of Indian culture. From henna art to spice-scented adventures, it's a day full of colour, creativity and fun!

EXCURSION | Slime at Sporties

Come join in the fun at sporties, with a short stroll down to moorebank sports club and enoy a slippy slimmy time making your very own slime. After the workshop sit and relax with your friends while having a bite to eat before heading back to the service.

WORKSHOP | Buzz Into Aboriginal Honey

In this interactive incursion, children will learn about the fascinating lives of native bees and their vital role in ecosystems. They’ll also discover the traditional methods used by Indigenous people to collect honey, with deep respect for nature and its cycles.

EXCURSION | Calmsley Hill City Farm

Children can enjoy a range of activities, from milking cows and taking a tractor ride to watching thrilling stock whip and cattle dog shows. Don’t miss the sheep shearing demonstrations and the intimate koala talk, where you can get up close with one of Australia’s most iconic animals.
