Where all the adventure and fun begin

Here at the Y Forestville OSHC, we make sure holidays are about fun! We provide a range of Vacation Care activities that children look forward to, including arts, crafts, cooking activities, sports, dance and drama. No matter what your child is interested in, we will plan school holiday activities to suit.

Our Vacation Care program offers a variety of activities, including workshops and excursions. Our activities keep children entertained, engaged and explore their adventurous side.

To be eligible to use our Vacation Care services, children must be enrolled at school or school aged.

TUE 7 APR	DAY CAMP \| Creative Blast Day Get ready for a day full of colour, creativity and imagination! Creative Blast Day is an exciting hands-on art experience where children can explore different materials, experiment with fun techniques, and express their unique ideas.	Full fee $70.50
WED 8 APR	WORKSHOP \| Animation Blast! During our exciting Stop Motion Animation workshop, children will create their own mini movies while learning how animation and film production works behind the scenes. Using hands-on materials and easy-to-use technology, they’ll bring characters and stories to life one frame at a time! Workshop starts at 1:30pm.	Full fee $98.50
THU 9 APR	WORKSHOP \| Buildtopia Magnetic Lab Get ready to build, design and create! Children will use over 300 magnetic tiles to construct towers and imaginative cityscapes while exploring shapes, balance and teamwork. A fun, hands-on workshop that sparks creativity and problem-solving skills! Workshop starts at 10:00am.	Full fee $98.50
FRI 10 APR	WORKSHOP \| Bricks 4 Kids Build and explore the animal kingdom! Children will create moving LEGO models like snakes, seals and chameleons using Technic bricks and simple motors. A fun, hands-on workshop that combines creativity, learning and “edu-taining” fun! Workshop Starts at 10:00 am.	Full fee $98.50

MON 13 APR	WORKSHOP \| Radical Reptiles Get ready for a scaly, hands-on adventure! Children will meet real reptiles like pythons, geckos, and more brought by experienced handlers.Children will have the exciting opportunity to touch, observe, and learn about these fascinating creatures in a safe and fun environment. TUE 14 APR	WORKSHOP \| Professor Bubbles Get ready for an amazing experience with Professor Bubbles! WED 15 APR	WORKSHOP \| Fish Whispers Get ready for an action-packed, hands-on day! Children will try giant virtual fish on our indoor fishing simulators, make their own bait, and discover the fascinating history of fishing. THU 16 APR	WORKSHOP \| The Great Big Science Show This interactive show features a variety of spectacular and highly visual experiments, including liquid nitrogen, chemical reactions & fireballs - an unforgettable celebration of science.Throughout the show we’ll consider how scientists find out new things by doing experiments, testing predictions and using their knowledge to build inventions and technology. Child Care Subsidy

As a not-for-profit provider, the Y NSW works hard to keep the cost of care as low as possible to support all children to access high quality early learning. The Y NSW is an approved provider of the Child Care Subsidy for Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) and may be available to eligible families.
