We’re thrilled to announce the re-opening of the Y CentrePoint Sport and Leisure Centre, for gym and group fitness services on Saturday, 18 September 2021. We look forward to welcoming you back!
At this time, the pool and our aquatic programs will remain closed due to planned maintenance. Information regarding further centre maintenance works will be communicated with you shortly.
The health, wellbeing and safety of the community and our people is our top priority. COVID safe practices will continue in line with the Public Health Order, and we ask for your assistance to help keep the community and our employees safe.
What you need to know and do:
- Attendance will only be possible for members that reside in the Blayney LGA (or other areas out of lockdown) due to the continued lockdown of surrounding areas.
- Scan in using the Service NSW QR code.
- Always maintain a 1 person per 4sqm rule and practice social distancing.
- Always wear a face mask in all indoor spaces including classes, activities in or around the gym.
- Customers engaging in strenuous physical exercise may remove the face mask. However, customers are required to self-monitor and manage this accordingly and resume wearing the face mask as soon as practically possible.
- Customers will not be required to wear a face mask where an exemption applies under the Public Health Order.
- Children aged 12 and under are not required to wear masks, but it is encouraged where possible.
- Stay home if you feel unwell with COVID-19 symptoms and get tested.
We will continue to keep our families and community up to date with the most current information regarding our services and any changes that may occur because of Government announcements and restrictions. We thank you for your understanding as we work through this together. Everything we do in this regard, we do to keep us all safe, healthy and COVID free.
We’d like to advise that we will be operating with a fully staffed model and that our unstaffed gym access will be unavailable at this time. The centre access hours are;
- 5am to 9pm - Monday to Friday
- 9am to 6pm – Saturday
- 10am to 6pm - Sunday
