Here at the Y Padstow Heights OSHC, we make sure holidays are about fun! We provide a range of Vacation Care activities that children look forward to, including arts, crafts, cooking activities, sports, dance and drama. No matter what your child is interested in, we will plan school holiday activities to suit.

Our Vacation Care program offers a variety of activities, including workshops and excursions. Our activities keep children entertained, engaged and explore their adventurous side.

To be eligible to use our Vacation Care services, children must be enrolled at school or school aged.

MON 7 JUL	WORKSHOP \| Build a Buddy Join us for a magical vacation care experience where imagination comes to life! At Build-A-Buddy Day, children will have the opportunity to create their very own soft plush toy from scratch, selecting and stuffing their cuddly new friend to take home and cherish forever.	Full fee $93.75
TUE 8 JUL	WORKSHOP \| Bey Blade and Nano Bricks Get ready for an exciting vacation care experience where creativity meets competition! Kids will dive into custom Beyblade crafting, designing their own unique battle tops and competing in thrilling tournaments to see whose design reigns supreme! But the excitement doesn’t end there; the fun continues with a Nano Block Build Challenge, where children can unleash their imaginations by creating intricate mini masterpieces to take home. The workshop sessions are scheduled from 1pm to 3pm	Full fee $93.75
WED 9 JUL	DAY CAMP \| National Sugar Cookie Day Prepare for a wonderfully tasty vacation care day as we commemorate National Sugar Cookie Day with a blend of baking, decorating, and sugary creativity! Children will dive in to decorate their own cookies using icing, sprinkles, and an array of toppings; then pack them up to take home (if they don’t munch on them beforehand!). We’ll also partake in cookie-themed games, crafts, and a touch of baking science to mix in some educational fun.	Full fee $67.75
THU 10 JUL	WORKSHOP \| Traditional Indigenous Games Join us for a unique vacation care experience where children can discover and celebrate the rich culture of Australia’s First Nations peoples through Traditional Indigenous Games. Guided by enthusiastic educators, chidlren will explore the stories behind each game and engage in enjoyable, active experiences that have been handed down through generations, featuring games that promote teamwork, coordination, and a profound respect for Country and culture. The workshop session are scheduled from 1pm - 3pm	Full fee $93.75
FRI 11 JUL	EXCURSION \| Tru Ninja Get ready to leap, climb, and conquer like a true warrior on our exciting excursion to Tru Ninja! Children will test their strength, speed, and agility as they tackle a variety of thrilling obstacle courses inspired by real ninja challenges, from warped walls and swinging ropes to balance zones and climbing towers. It’s the ultimate mix of fitness and fun in a safe, supervised environment designed for all ability levels. Please arrive by 9:00am, and the excursion will estimated to conclude at 3:00pm	Full fee $103.75

MON 14 JUL	WORKSHOP \| Funbox - DIY Maze & Pencil Case Get ready to build your own adventure with a DIY maze, all you need are some simple materials & creativity and decorate your own pencil case to take home.	Full fee $93.75
TUE 15 JUL	WORKSHOP \| Cartooning Get ready to go DRAWING MAD this holiday season as Toonworld invites you on a creative adventure filled with challenges! You'll meet delightful characters and help design our own amazing heroes to protect the realm from the nefarious Rubbix and his chaotic stickman army! The workshop sessions are scheduled from 1pm to 3.30pm	Full fee $93.75
WED 16 JUL	WORKSHOP \| Learn to Play Oztag Come join us in learning how to play Oztag! Oztag focuses on speed, teamwork, and the joy of tagging! It resembles rugby but without tackles; just grab the tag and run! Whether you're evading defenders or sprinting towards the try line, Oztag keeps everyone active, laughing, and enjoying the game. Ideal for all skill levels and packed with excitement! The workshop sessions are scheduled from 1pm to 3pm	Full fee $93.75
THU 17 JUL	EXCURSION \| Mr Snotbottom - Comedy Show for kids Who’s up for some fun? Come along to Casula Power House for a kids' comedy show! Please arrive by 9:00am	Full fee $103.75
FRI 18 JUL	DAY CAMP \| National PJ Day Who says pajamas are only for sleeping? Be they fuzzy, humorous, or adorned with your favorite characters, PJs serve as the perfect attire for comfort and enjoyment. Put on your softest pair and prepare for a day filled with cozy vibes and big yawns.	Full fee $67.75

Child Care Subsidy

As a not-for-profit provider, the Y NSW works hard to keep the cost of care as low as possible to support all children to access high quality early learning. The Y NSW is an approved provider of the Child Care Subsidy for Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) and may be available to eligible families. Click here to read more
