The brand-new Y NSW Mobile App and Customer Portal is now LIVE! The new app will connect you seamlessly into our new customer management system, PerfectGym and new billing provider, Payrix.

With the Y NSW App, customers will be able to;

  • View your enrolment, skills and progress.
  • Edit and update your profile.
  • Add family members and create new bookings.
  • Notify class absences and book make-up lessons.
  • Update your billing details and make secure payments
  • View statements and account information

Getting Started with the Y NSW App

Why should I download the Y NSW App?

The Y NSW App puts everything you need in the palm of your hand, from group fitness class bookings and workout tracking to managing memberships, enrolling in programs like Learn to Swim and Learn to Play, and booking court or lane hire. 

It’s your one-stop tool to stay connected with your Y centre, simplify your schedule, and take control of your health and wellbeing.

What devices are compatible with the Y NSW App?

The Y NSW App works on both iOS and Android smartphones. For best results, use the latest version of your device's operating system. The app may not be fully compatible with tablets or older phones. 

How do I download and set up the Y NSW app?

You can download the app from the  iOS and Goople app stores.

 

   

Account, Access and Login

Do I need to create a new login for the Y NSW App, if I’ve used it before?

No. Current customers will receive an email to download or update the Y NSW App.

If you’ve used the Y NSW App before, you will already have an account and can log in using your existing email and password.

I haven’t used any Y App before, how do I access the new Y NSW App?

Once you’ve signed up with the Y, you’ll receive an email inviting you to download the Y NSW App and create your account.

When logging in for the first time, your email address (linked to your Y membership) will already be populated in the system.

Follow the prompts to complete your profile details and set a password to finish creating your account.

What if my contact details have changed or I’m not getting updates?

Please visit your local Y centre to confirm your mobile number and email address are up to date. This ensures you receive all important communications from the Y.

Can I manage multiple children’s bookings under one login?

Yes. You can add multiple children under your profile. This allows you to manage program enrolments, class attendance, and make-up bookings from one account.

Membership and Payments

What can I do with the Y NSW App?

Easily manage your account details;

  • Update your profile effortlessly.
  • View your bookings and make purchases with ease.
  • Securely manage and process your payments.
     

How can I Manage my account in the App?

1. Log in to the Y NSW App
2. Select the “Manage My Account” tile
3. From here you can;

  • View Bookings
  • Edit your Profile
  • Make a Payment
  • Update Billing Details
  • Make a new purchase

Will I be charged to download the Y NSW App?

No. The app is free to download and use. 

If I make a purchase within the App, will there be charges?

Yes, transaction charges apply when making payments. 

Is my data safe in the Y NSW App?

Yes. The app is powered by PerfectGym and Payrix Australia Pty Ltd, both of which comply with Australian privacy and data security standards. Your personal and payment details are encrypted and securely stored.

Group Fitness Class Bookings

How do I book a group fitness class in the app?

Log in to the Y NSW App.

Select "Group Fitness" and choose your class to Book.

If the class is full, join the Waitlist.

Tap "Remind Me" for classes more than three days away.

How far in advance can I book classes?

Bookings open 3 days in advance.

What if I can’t attend a class I’ve booked?

Please cancel your booking via the app as early as possible so other members can take your place. You can cancel up to three hours before the class starts.

If I join a waitlist- -will I be notified if a spot becomes available for a Group Fitness Class?

Yes! If you are on a waitlist and a space becomes available, you will be automatically booked in and we will notify you via email.

Learn to Swim and Learn to Play

Can I manage my child’s Learn to Swim/Play enrolment through the app?

Yes, you can:

  • View the current class schedules and bookings
  • Track your attendance and progress
  • Notify us of an absence
  • Enrol in make-up lessons (if eligible)
  • Update your contact or billing details
     

I can’t make it to a lesson, how do I a notify an absence?

If your child cannot attend a lesson, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Y NSW App.
  2. Select the tile for your program (e.g., Learn to Swim, Learn to Pay etc).
  3. Tap on "Notify an Absence".
  4. Choose the session your child will miss.
  5. Confirm the absence.
     

How do I book a make-up Learn to Swim or Learn to Play class?

If your child is eligible for a make-up class, please follow these steps:
  • Log in to the Y NSW App.
  • Select the tile for your program (for example, "Learn to Swim").
  • Tap on "Book a Make-Up Class."
  • Choose from the available sessions at your centre.
  • Confirm your booking within the app.
     

What happens if I miss a make-up class?

Make-up classes cannot be re-booked or credited if they are missed.

Please ensure you attend or cancel if you cannot make it.

Support and Troubleshooting

Who can I contact if I need help with the app?

For help with technical support, bookings, class availability or membership issues, please contact staff at your local Y centre. 

I’m having trouble logging in – what should I do?

If your password isn't working, click "Forgot Password" to reset it.

If you are still having trouble logging in, check your email for mistakes or visit your local Y for help.

Do I need internet or data to use the app?

Yes. The app requires a stable internet connection or mobile data to access live class schedules, bookings and updates.
