The Marigold Room for ages 1–2 Years is a warm, nurturing and play‑rich environment designed to support toddlers as they grow in confidence, independence and curiosity. At this stage, children are becoming more mobile, expressive and eager to explore, so the space is thoughtfully set up to encourage safe discovery, meaningful interactions and joyful learning.
Educators provide gentle guidance and responsive care, building strong, trusting relationships with each child. Daily routines are flexible and follow each child’s individual rhythm, including sleep routines, mealtimes, comfort items and transitions. This helps children feel secure, settled and ready to engage in play.
Learning experiences are designed to support all areas of development, including sensory exploration, early language, social play, physical movement and emerging independence. Educators create opportunities for toddlers to practise new skills, express themselves, build friendships and explore their world with confidence.
Families are valued partners in their child’s learning journey. Educators work closely with parents to understand routines, preferences and personalities, ensuring each child feels known, supported and deeply cared for every day.
What to bring each day:
Room Communication:
We encourage families to take a little time during drop-off to chat with our educators. These conversations help us understand your child’s needs, routines and any important updates that support their wellbeing throughout the day.
All communication about your child’s daily activities, routines, photos, and updates will be shared through the OWNA App. This ensures you receive consistent, real-time information and can stay connected with your child’s learning and experiences.
Meals and Nutrition:
Meals are provided according to our centre's Sample Menu and nutritional guidelines.
Sleep and Rest:
Children in the Marigold Room are supported with a calm, comfortable rest period each day.
Health and Safety Practise:
Your child’s wellbeing is our highest priority.
Educators follow all regulatory requirements to ensure a safe, supportive, and high-quality environment.
