For over two decades, the Y’s iconic Youth Parliament program has provided hundreds of students in Years 10 to 12 with an invaluable opportunity to speak on issues that they are passionate about, build leadership and advocacy skills, and gain practical experience in the parliamentary process.  

To ensure that Youth Parliament is inclusive and accessible to all young people, we rely on the generous support of sponsors to help cover the entry cost of the program for young people who are marginalized or disadvantaged.

How You Can Support

We invite forward-thinking sponsors to join us in empowering young people through the Youth Parliament program and help young people financially who identify as:  

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander  
• Living with a disability  
• Experiencing financial hardship  
• LGBTQIA+  
• Culturally and linguistically diverse 
• Living/have lived in out-of-home care  
• Living in rural areas.  

With your generous contribution of just $1400, which is tax-deductible, you can directly impact positive change in a young person’s life. 

Your support will cover: 

• Accommodation, food and beverages at the April camp in Sydney 
• Accommodation, food and beverages at the July camp in Sydney 
• Transport to and from NSW Parliament House the July camp 
• A proportion of the staffing costs associated with the program 
• A proportion of the administration overheads associated with the program
