Dear Y Members,
I am writing to advise you that Camden Councilhas decided that as of Monday, 23 March 2020 they will close Mount Annan Leisure Centre and Camden War Memorial Pool. We understand that the Council has given this directive in order to reduce the risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
We apologise for the inconvenience this development will cause our valued customers. It is unfortunate to be experiencing a time of such challenge and uncertainty and as you are all aware, our Nation and indeed the global community is now facing a period of significant change and upheaval as a result of the pandemic.
Regarding suspending your membership, learn to swim enrolments and multi visit passes, please know there is nothing you need to do. Our Y team will be actioning automatic suspensions of all memberships, learn to swim enrolments, multi visit passes and associated direct debits. This automatic suspension will be activated on Monday, 23 March 2020 and will continue for the duration of the closure until future directives are received from Camden Council or the State and Federal Government.
Please note that full credits will be automatically applied to all accounts that have been paid in advance for the period of 23 March – 27 March 2020. Multi visit pass expiry dates will also be extended for the duration of the closure.
There is no need for you to contact the centre regarding your membership or enrolment, however if you have a concern or query please send an email to: admin.malc@ymcansw.org.au and we will respond as soon as we can.
Unfortunately, at this point in time we are not able to let you know a reopening date, but we will be liaising closely with Camden Council and other government authorities to ensure we keep you informed.
